I have really enjoyed getting to know all of my students over the past couple of weeks. We have a wonderful class and they have been working very hard in the 1st grade. This year is a big adjustment from Kindergarten, but the kids are doing well and learning a lot. I am looking forward to many wonderful memories with my class this year!

Here are a few pictures of the kids working together on a "noun" activity. They have learned that a noun names: a person, place, or thing and they were very excited about the project that we did at the end of the week. They were put into groups and they had to cut out different pictures of nouns and glue them in the correct place. They did a great job and had a lot of fun!

First Day of School

We had a wonderful first week of first grade! All of the kids were very excited about our new renovations and new technology at our school. We have an excellent class and I'm looking forward to a wonderful year with them.
